Got his first guitar in April '92, and got into the rock scene. Shane's first influence was Metallica's Kirk Hammett (da bomb!). After getting to know the guitar, pulled some friends together and formed a band called Corruption. Little over a half a year and they called it quits. After meeting up with a couple of friends formed the Buttermakers, as their guitarist. After leaving that band, Shane joined a group called Solice, but this time as a bassist. The band recorded a CD and then split. A co-worker told Shane that she knew a band that needed a bassist, finally Still Small Noise was complete.
